People from all over Leicestershire will come together to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the biggest birthday party of the year, at our temple on Leicesters Granby Street.

Morning Program

09:30am - 12:30pm (doors open from 08.30am)
includes Kirtan, Abhishek and class

All devotees (18 and over) attending the morning festival will need to show proof of either:

1. Being double vaccinated (via a valid COVID Pass)
or
2. Proof of a negative Rapid Lateral Flow Test, taken within 48hours, we advise doing this on Sunday 29th August so it is valid for Vyasa Puja Festival.

The program will start at 9:30am and finish at 12:30pm.

Evening Program
18:00 until 01:00am

Please note there is no stage program or prashadam feast.


We continue to request devotees to wear face masks within the building.
There will be NO access to any other area of the building other than the Grand Hall and toilets.
